The editor-in-chief of "Trend" news agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan considered the development of tourism to require the cooperation of public and private media and the implementation of propaganda and information programs and said: With the expansion of political and economic relations between Baku and Tehran and the increase in the presence and activity of the private tourism sector, the tourism relations of the two countries will be strengthened.
According to the report of the General Directorate of Public Relations and Information, quoted by IRNA, Amin Aliyev, on Friday, November 04, 2022, said about the tourism industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan: For many years, the Republic of Azerbaijan has planned and invested in the infrastructure of industries other than oil and gas. It has prepared and implemented plans for the development of these industries, and the tourism industry is one of the most important of these fields.The editor-in-chief of Azerbaijan's Trend news agency described the tourism industry of his country as an important, powerful and forward-looking field and said: Many tourists come to Azerbaijan, especially from Arab countries, Russia and other countries of the Caspian Sea, including Ukraine, Belarus and even Georgia. which has brought currency to our country, however tourism revenues are still lower than oil and gas revenues.He expressed his hope that with the development of tourism infrastructure in the coming years, if the plans proceed according to the outlined vision, Azerbaijan's tourism will become as important and profitable as the oil and gas industry and become one of the poles of the Caspian region, but this process requires plans. Advertising is introducing and informing the capacities, attractions and capabilities of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of tourism.
We should not depend only on the oil and gas industry .
